Coolsculpting Machine
The Allergan/Zeltiq Coolsculpting machine allows practitioners to recontour a client's body giving the client their desired physique without needles or incisions. Coolsculpting enables the practitioner to noninvasively target and eliminate specific unwanted fat regions, which can't be touched by diet or exercise, while leaving healthy tissue unharmed.
This is done through the FDA approved method of cryolipolysis. Since fat freezes at a higher temperature than skin, the coolsculpting machine cools fat to a temperature that destroys the unwanted cells while avoiding damage to skin. The practitioner easily treats the patient by placing the coolsculpting paddles on the treatment areas and cooling the tissue quickly. Within a time frame of half an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, 20-25% of fat cells are destroyed in the targeted area.
